Marital status: Married
Children: 1
Occupation: Strategic Marketing Consultant
What have you been doing for the past 60 years?: I received a degree in advertising from UF, married Susie Peters, and got my Master's in Journalism at UF. Susie and I have a daughter (Lisa) and a grandson (Charlie). Although we divorced decades ago, Susie and I remain friends. I met my Canadian wife Valerie over 20 years ago while vacationing in Key West. We enjoy riding our motorcycles all over the world, so far covering 56 countries with more in the works. My career in advertising was quite enjoyable. I founded my own advertising agency in 1984 and grew it into a regional firm. I sold it and pretty much retired at age 49, buying and selling a number of small businesses since then. Today I do strategic business consulting when not traveling, doing charity work with Valerie or grandbabysitting. Life's been good to me so far...

What have you been doing for the past 60 years?: After high school, I went straight into college at UF to study nursing. I dropped out after my first year to marry my first husband, but went on to complete my education and obtain my RN degree. I worked in Florida until ‘82 when I moved to Virginia after a divorce. I remarried for 38 years now and just recently moved back “home” to Florida. Being the “country” girl that I am, we live on 4 acres in Suwannee County. Even though I no longer own nor do I ride, my passion has always been for horses, farm life, homesteading, music, vet care and learning how to do new things.
Together my husband and I have 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
My accomplishments are certainly mundane compared to other classmates but I will always be thankful for the gift that God has given me and will strive to serve Him well.

What have you been doing for the past 60 years?: I retired from clinical work in 2016, but I have been called back to service. Even though I am an anesthesiologist, I am now the Interim Co-Chair of Pathology at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. The pathology department needs management and administrative help that I hope to be able provide over the next year.
